  1. What are the iPhone requirements?

    • iPhone 2G, Internet Access (including Wifi), running OS 2.0 - 3.1
    • iPhone 3G, Internet Access (including Wifi), running OS 2.0 - 3.1
    • iPhone 3Gs, Internet Access (including Wifi), running OS 2.0 - 3.1

  2. What versions of iPhone's OS are supported?

    Deal Scout currently supports iPhone OS 2.0 - 3.1. Deal Scout is currently not compatible with the new iOS4.

    This issue occurs because DealScout accesses your telephone's number and inserts it into the database. iOS 4 does not allow any app to access the User's telephone number.

    If you would like to make changes to your Search Terms or your account. Please click "Account Login" at the bottom of this page. You will then be able to edit all of your settings.

    A new release of Deal Scout will resolve this issue but we will no longer be able to send notifications through Text. All notifications will be through Apple's Push Notification which is barely reliable at best.

  3. How many times am I allowed to use Deal Scout?

    You are allowed to use Deal Scout as many times as you wish. There is no limit to the number of searches that you can run.
